Weekends are Made for What Again?

Posted on March 15, 2021February 14, 2024 By Stephanie

I slept in yesterday, and then I slept in again today. I didn’t mean to sleep as late as I did, and the time change certainly didn’t do me any favors.

I’ve been working on a new craft: resin casting. I’ve made a few cool items like a coaster set, a few rings, some trinket boxes, etc. And now I’d like to get my show on the road.

I’m gonna start e-commerce. Otherwise known as selling my stuff.

There’s gotta be a market out there for someone who wants to buy some cool stuff that’s locally made and they can either wear (jewelry) or store their stuff in (trinket boxes).

I realize my last post may have been tone deaf to families that are struggling on two incomes. That was not my intention. I was trying to express my gratitude at having a wife who supported my decision not to stay in an industry that did not fit my personality. I am, indeed a lucky-ass bitch!

I’ve been given a chance to do something that makes me truly happy. No, not making cocktails and petting dogs. Creating something and offering it to other people to enjoy.

It’s a slow process getting my website up and running, but thankfully we have a dorky boy who knows all about that stuff! As soon as I have everything in order, I’m gonna spring it on everyone!

So look out!

My two “helpers” on break.
